What the event report says
China.org.cn published a report on 12 February 2026 about a winter village gala in Luoyang’s Yibin district, describing a hundred-drum opening performance. Read the original report. It does not establish that the drums were supplied by GU or made in Matun.
Planning interpretation: count by playing position
For your own programme, start with a stage plan and identify each playing position. List the drum type, dimensions and support required at that position. A model-by-model equipment schedule is more useful than a headline player count.
Browse performance sets, then confirm their actual contents. Ask your production team to review sightlines, movement and access around the instruments.
Connect delivery with rehearsals
Set an equipment-ready date before the first rehearsal. Decide who checks the shipment and assigns items to groups. If useful, request labelling that matches the stage plan.
Include stands, sticks, artwork, packing and destination in the quote request. An unrelated event report does not establish a supplier’s stock or capacity. Read the festival guide for the next planning steps.
