Turn the programme into an equipment list
A Lunar New Year programme may use a stage group, lion dance team or moving parade. Explain the format before choosing the instrument. The festival name alone does not define the equipment needed.
Match the setup to the performers
Browse festival drums or the lion dance range. For a moving group, discuss carrying or support arrangements rather than assuming a stage setup can be used on a parade route.
Approve appearance early
Provide logo files, lettering and placement requirements with the inquiry. Ask for a layout showing the drum surface used for the design. Keep the approved version with the order so a reference photo is not mistaken for the final artwork.
Work backwards from rehearsals
Tell the supplier when equipment is needed for rehearsal, not only the public event date. Confirm the order’s production and delivery arrangements. Leave time to unpack and check the complete equipment list.
