Where Are Chinese Drums Made? Matun Village Guide

Where is Matun village?

Matun village is in Goushi, Yanshi, Luoyang, Henan. A China Youth Network report published on 1 July 2025 describes a university visit to a local drum workshop.

A place name is the beginning of a supplier check

Ask who is responsible for the quotation, who makes the selected model and who handles issues after delivery. Regional reporting is useful background; it does not establish the origin of every product sold under a related search term. A village’s production figures or another workshop’s event history are not GU certifications or customer references.

Match the instrument before comparing suppliers

A group selecting tanggu needs different information from a dance team ordering waist drums. Record head diameter, shell height, playing position and accessories. Include loading and storage requirements for larger drums.

Prepare the inquiry

List model quantities, finish, artwork placement, destination and the date equipment is needed for rehearsal. Request an itemised list of stands, sticks and packing. Read the wholesale guide to turn that shortlist into an order brief. Approved specifications and the quotation define the actual purchase.
