Explain the performance format
State whether the drum stays in one location or travels with the team. Include a reference for the intended setup rather than relying only on the phrase “lion dance drum”.
Check more than diameter
Browse lion dance drums, then ask for shell height, overall dimensions and the proposed stand. Check player reach and available space. If replacing existing equipment, provide its measurements to make the comparison useful.
Specify the full set
A drum, stand, sticks, gongs and cymbals are separate items unless explicitly included in the quote. Confirm sizes and quantities for each accessory. The contents of any performance set should be checked against its packing list.
Plan transport and rehearsal
Measure the narrowest access point and ask about packed dimensions and removable components. Tell the supplier when equipment is needed for rehearsal, allowing time for checking the delivery.
Submit model, quantity, destination, artwork and the exact accessories required. The wholesale planning page helps organise the brief.
